Topping the list of the 10 most expensive single-family home sales of the year was 4 Stone Tower Drive in Alpine, New Jersey, which sold for $16.7 million, making it the priciest home sale in all of North Jersey in 2024. Originally listed at $20 million, the 7-bedroom, 12-bath gated estate was designed by Morristown-based architect James Paragano and spans nearly 23,000 square feet on four manicured acres, featuring a newly updated kitchen by Peter Salerno, along with resort-style amenities including a bowling alley, fitness center, wine cellar, pool, cabana, tennis court, guest house, and putting green. The transaction was listed by Rosemarie Campi and purchased with Richard Orlando of Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, underscoring continued demand for ultra-luxury homes in Alpine and Bergen County’s most prestigious enclaves.
